Certified Organic Baby Products

We only use certified organic baby products in our house, and since I made the switch, my boys’ skin has never been healthier.  No diaper rash, no dry skin, no red bums.  Just happy little misters.

Why buy certified organic baby products?certified organic baby products

Many baby products that you buy in stores, even some in the all natural food isle, contain hazardous chemicals.  Parabens, SLS, phthalates, nitrosamines, and formaldehyde-donating ingredients are all labelled ‘safe’ in many countries and yet scientific studies are showing more and more that these and other synthetic chemicals can lead to serious chronic diseases.  Buying products that have no synthetic chemicals is a fast and easy way to guarantee that non of theses harmful ingredients reach your skin or your children’s skin.

For more information, check out David Suzuki’s Dirty Dozen Chemicals to Avoid, and EWG’s Dirty Dozen Endocrine Disruptors.  EWG also has a Cosmetics Database where you can check the safety of the products you use.
