How I Lost 8lbs in 3 Days with the FAST Organic Weight Loss Supplement

Before talking about my experience with the latest organic weight loss supplement, I feel like I need to add a disclaimer: I did not go into this attempting to lose weight.

I am a big believer in loving your body as it is, and in eating, and being, healthy​ rather than focusing on weight.

My Experience with Miessence's FAST Shake

So I tried this product out for the full 3 days.  And, let me tell you, it was pretty tough not to cheat and say, "Well, this is the end of day 3.  It's basically the same as the morning of day 4.  Maybe I need popcorn and a beer."

But I did indeed last the full 3 days.

So here's how it went.

Day 1 was the hardest.  I really wanted some sushi and a fruit smoothie.  But I held out.  I did "cheat" a little bit and ​add some beets, kale, spinach, and blueberries to my lunchtime FAST shake.

Day 2 was angry and weepy.  This might have been just a regular 'what do I do with my life' sort of speedbump, but I think I was extra emotional because of the fast and the detox stuff my body was doing.​  

What I found especially interesting was the by day 2, I would get really hungry and really want some sugar or some chocolate, but once I had my FAST shake, that craving went away.  

My body was getting a lot of the essential nutrients it needed (TONS of protein and iron) so once I had those nutrients in my belly, the cravings went away.​

Day 3 was actually kind of super awesome.  By day 3 I was starting to get that 'cleaner, lighter' feeling.  And I felt good.​

I was not craving food on day 3, though I knew that I couldn't last forever on this crazy 3 day thing, and I definitely did look forward to that homemade quinoa salad and veggie soup that was prepped for day 4.

I also "cheated" a little bit on day 3 and added half a banana and some raspberries to my lunch and dinner shake.​

And super cool side affect: my sugar cravings were virtually gone.

Overall, I found some pretty surprising effects to this 3 day experiment.

  • I lost 8 pounds in 3 days.​  Some of this was fat, some was likely water weight, and some was just 'junk' that built up in my body. (I'll spare you the poop talk...) Update: 3 weeks later and the entire 8 pounds are still gone.  Success!
  • I felt cleaner and lighter and just overall better.
  • I have more energy.
  • My sugar cravings are virtually gone.
  • I have a much easier time determining when I'm hungry and when I'm full.  (Prior to this, I was eating as much as I thought I needed based on calories and portions and at the time I though appropriate.)
  • My hair is actually much nicer than it was before the FAST.  (What?!)

A few points to note, though, if you're going to try out this organic weight loss supplement: the benefits of fasting go way beyond just weight loss.  

Intermittent fasting, especially when you have the right nutrients in your supplement, can help you to 'reset' your gut, to clean out your digestive system (that's what the cascara is for), and to shine a light on your eating patterns.

I was able to identify when I was just eating out of habit, rather than hunger.  

And Miessence's FAST shake also helped cut my sugar cravings WAY down, which means less useless calories that my body just stores as fat.​

If you want to keep the weight off though, you need to focus on diet and exercise, on keeping portions reasonable and eating a plant-heavy diet.
