Low Fat Chocolate Desserts: Organic Chocolate Mug Cake

This vegan + organic chocolate mug cake is my favourite of all the low fat chocolate desserts out there. Plus, it’s super simple to make and actually good for you!

Ingredients and Directions

  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tblsp Miessence’s Organic Protein Powder (raw, vegan, and gluten Free)
  • 1 tblsp of (organic) cocoa powder
  • 2 tblsps of flour (gluten free or [organic] all purpose)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 5 to 10 drops of liquid sweetener

Mix together all of the ingredients.  Stir well.  Pour into a mug and heat in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes, or until a skewer stuck into the middle comes out clean.

Add some yogurt (regular or coconut yogurt for a vegan dessert) and some fresh raspberries.  This combination is my new favourite thing to eat.  Low fat chocolate desserts, I ♥ you.
